This guide explains how to configure widget areas, sidebars, and custom widgets in the theme to improve site functionality, layout flexibility, and user experience.
Widget areas can be managed from:
WordPress Dashboard → Appearance → Widgets
1. Sidebar Widget Areas #
The theme provides several predefined sidebar locations designed for different sections of your website.
Main Widget Area #
This is the primary sidebar used for:
- Blog posts
- WordPress pages
Enable Sidebar: #
Go to:
Theme Settings → General → Layout
Choose sidebar position:
- Left sidebar
- Right sidebar
Shop Page Widget Area #
Dedicated sidebar for WooCommerce shop and product category pages.
Common uses:
- Product filters
- Product categories
- Promotional widgets
Configure: #
Theme Settings → Product Archive → Sidebar
Select:
- Left sidebar
- Right sidebar
Off-Canvas Sidebar Option #
You can enable off-canvas sidebars for:
- Mobile devices
- Tablets
- Desktop screens
This hides the sidebar and displays it via a toggle button.
Single Product Page Widget Area #
This widget area appears only on individual product pages.
Access: #
Theme Settings → Single Product
Shop Filters Area #
Displayed between:
- Breadcrumbs
- Product grid on shop pages
Enable: #
Theme Settings → Product Archive → Shop Filters
Custom Content Option #
You can display custom content instead of filters:
- Set content type to Custom Content
- Select a pre-created HTML Block
- Use it for banners, promotions, or custom messages
My Account Sidebar #
Dedicated widget area for:
- User account pages
- Orders
- Account navigation
Full-Screen Menu Area #
This widget area becomes active when:
- Full-screen menu feature is enabled
Area After Mobile Menu #
Allows additional content inside mobile menu using:
- HTML Block widget
- Custom text or promotional content
2. Footer Widget Areas #
Footer widgets depend on the selected footer layout.
Configure Footer Layout: #
Theme Settings → Footer → Layout
Possible areas include:
- Footer Column 1
- Footer Column 2
- Footer Column 3 (and more depending on layout)
Footer Design Options: #
- Use widgets only
- Use HTML blocks only
- Combine both approaches
3. Creating Custom Sidebars #
If different pages require different sidebars:
Create Custom Sidebar: #
- Go to Dashboard → Sidebars
- Create a new sidebar
- It will appear automatically in:
- Appearance → Widgets
This allows separate sidebars for:
- Pages
- Posts
- Projects
- Custom layouts
4. Managing Widgets (WordPress Editor) #
Recent WordPress versions use the block-based widget editor.
To Add Widgets: #
- Open a widget area
- Click the + (Add Block) button
- Search for widget name
- Insert and configure it

If you prefer the old interface:

- Restores traditional widget management
