Learn how to install the Omniverse WordPress theme using the WordPress Admin panel. This is the fastest and most beginner-friendly method to get your theme installed and ready for use.
Follow the steps below to install and set up Omniverse on your website.
Requirements #
Before you begin, make sure:
- WordPress is already installed on your server
- Your system meets all Omniverse theme requirements
Recommended Setup #
For the best experience—especially when importing demo content—we recommend using a fresh WordPress installation to avoid conflicts with existing data or plugins.

Uploading Omniverse via the WordPress Dashboard #
- Log in to WordPress Admin
Visityourdomain.com/wp-adminand log in with your credentials. - Navigate to Theme Upload
Go to Appearance → Themes → Add New → Upload Theme - Select the Theme File
Click Choose File and select theomniverse.zipfile from your computer. - Install the Theme
Click Install Now and wait for the upload to complete. - Activate Omniverse
Once installation is complete, click Activate to make Omniverse your active theme.
Important Notes #
- Make sure you upload the correct
omniverse.zipfile that contains the theme files directly. - Do not upload a ZIP file that contains another ZIP inside it.
- If your download package includes multiple files, locate and upload only the main theme ZIP file.
Once activated, Omniverse is installed and ready for configuration.
Omniverse Setup Wizard #
After activating the theme, you’ll be redirected to the Omniverse Welcome Screen. The built-in setup wizard will guide you through the initial configuration process.
Click “Let’s Start” to begin.
Setup Wizard Walkthrough #
The Omniverse setup wizard includes six simple steps:
- License Activation
- Child Theme
- Page Builder
- Plugins
- Prebuilt Websites
- Done
Step 1: License Activation #
Activate your Omniverse license to enable automatic updates and unlock all premium features.
- Enter your purchase code
- Accept the terms
- Click Activate Theme
License Type #
- Development Domain checked → License activated for staging/testing site
- Development Domain unchecked → License activated for live website
License Usage Policy #
Each Omniverse license can be activated on:
- One staging/testing domain
- One live domain
Multiple unrelated websites require separate licenses.
Finding Your Purchase Code #
- Log in to your Envato Market account
- Click your username → Downloads
- Find Omniverse and click Download
- Select License Certificate & Purchase Code (PDF or text)
Step 2: Child Theme #
Installing a child theme is strongly recommended for safe customization.
A child theme ensures:
- Your custom changes are preserved during theme updates
- You can update the parent Omniverse theme without losing modifications
Click “Install Child Theme” and Omniverse will automatically create and activate it for you.
Step 3: Business Type Selection #
Choose the business type you want to use for your website:
- E-Commerce
- LMS (Learning Management System)
Step 3: Page Builder Selection #
Choose the page builder you want to use for your website:
- Elementor – Visual drag-and-drop editor
- WPBakery – Frontend and backend page builder
Important Notes #
- Omniverse supports only one page builder at a time
- This selection is permanent
- Switching builders later requires rebuilding your content
- All demo websites are designed specifically for the selected builder
After choosing, click Continue.
Step 4: Plugins Activation #
Install essential and optional plugins required for your website.
Required Plugins #
- Omniverse Core – Main theme functionality
- WooCommerce – Enables e-commerce features
- Selected Page Builder Plugin (Elementor or WPBakery)
Gutenberg users will not see a plugin, as it is built into WordPress.
Optional Recommended Plugins #
- Contact Form 7 – Contact forms
- MailChimp for WordPress – Email marketing integration
- Safe SVG – Secure SVG file uploads
You can install plugins individually or click Install & Activate All.
Step 5: Prebuilt Websites #
Choose from professionally designed prebuilt websites to quickly launch your project.
Each demo includes:
- Pages
- Layouts
- Images
- Styling tailored to specific industries
Click Import on the demo you want to use.
Step 6: Everything Is Ready #
🎉 Congratulations!
Your Omniverse theme is now fully installed and configured.
You can now:
- Click Start Customizing
- Or View Your Website
