Enabling Header Overlap

The Header Overlap feature in the Omniverse Header Builder allows the header to appear on top of the website content. This is commonly used with transparent headers, especially on homepages that include full-screen sliders, banners, or large images.

How to Enable Header Overlap #

To activate header overlap:

1. Open the Header Builder editor.
2. Click the Header Settings (gear icon).
3. Enable the Make it Overlap option.
4. Save your changes.

Once enabled, the header will be displayed above the page content.

Using Overlap on Specific Pages Only #

If you want header overlap only on certain pages (for example, the homepage):

1. Duplicate your existing header.
2. Enable Header Overlap in the duplicated header settings.
3. Keep the original header as the default header.
4. Assign the overlapped header specifically to the desired page.

This ensures consistent header behavior across the rest of the website while applying overlap only where needed.
