If you face file size upload limitations when installing the theme through the WordPress dashboard, you can install the Omniverse theme using FTP (File Transfer Protocol) or your hosting control panel. This method is especially useful for large theme files.
Method 1: Using Hosting Control Panel #
Most hosting providers offer a control panel like cPanel, Plesk, or DirectAdmin with a file manager.
Steps: #
- Log in to your hosting control panel.
- Open File Manager.
- Navigate to the following directory:
/wp-content/themes/ - Upload the omniverse.zip theme file to this folder.
- Extract (unzip) the file using the control panel’s extract option.
- Optionally, delete the ZIP file after extraction to save space.
After extraction, go to Appearance → Themes in WordPress and activate the Omniverse theme.
