The Product Quantity Units of Measurement feature allows you to display additional pricing information based on specific measurement units. This is useful for products sold by weight, area, volume, or other measurable quantities.
For example:
- Groceries priced per kilogram
- Building materials priced per square meter
- Liquids priced per liter
Adding measurement units helps customers better understand product pricing and improves transparency.
1. Adding Units to a Single Product #
To set a measurement unit for an individual product:
- Go to Dashboard → Products.
- Edit the desired product.
- Open the Inventory tab in the product data section.
- Locate the Unit of Measurement field.
- Enter the required unit (e.g., kg, m², liter).
- Click Update to save changes.
2. Bulk Editing Units for Multiple Products #
If you need to apply units to several products at once:
- Navigate to Dashboard → Products.
- Select multiple products using the checkboxes.
- Choose Edit from the bulk actions dropdown.
- Click Apply.
- Find the Unit of Measurement field in the bulk editor.
- Enter the desired unit.
- Click Update to apply changes.
