How to Add a Banner to the Category Page

Adding banners to product category pages helps highlight promotions, improve visual appeal, and provide additional information to customers. The Omniverse theme allows you to display banners, images, sliders, or custom content above category product listings.

1. Using Category Description for Banners #

WooCommerce provides a Category Description field that appears above products on category pages. This field can be used to add:

• Images or sliders
• Custom marketing content

Steps: #

1. Go to Dashboard → Products → Categories.
2. Edit the desired category.
3. Add content to the Description field.
4. Save the changes.

2. Adding Advanced Banner Content (Recommended) #

For more complex layouts such as sliders or styled banners:

1. Create an HTML Block using:
   • WPBakery Page Builder, or
   • Elementor.
2. Design your banner, slider, or promotional section.
3. Copy the HTML Block shortcode.
4. Paste it into the category Description field.
