The Waitlist feature automatically notifies customers when an out-of-stock product becomes available. This helps track demand and keeps customers informed, increasing the likelihood of purchase.
1. Enable Waitlist #
- Go to Dashboard → Theme Settings → Shop → Waitlist.
- Turn on the Waitlist option.
2. Initial State #
- Always Open: The Waitlist form is always available.
- After submission, customers see the default “Joining the Waitlist” confirmation.
- Optionally, enable “Enable Fragments Updating” to maintain accurate waitlist information when caching is active.
- Current State: Displays the current status for the customer (joined or not).
3. Additional Options #
- Enable Privacy Policy Checkbox: Adds a privacy agreement checkbox to the Waitlist form.
- Waitlist Only for Logged-in Users: Restrict the feature to logged-in customers.
4. Edit Emails Sent to Customers #
- Go to WooCommerce → Settings → Emails → Waitlist – Product Back in Stock.
- Email HTML Content: Customize the HTML version of the email.
- Email Text Content: Customize the plain text version of the email.
- To disable the “Confirm Subscription” functionality, simply disable the corresponding email in WooCommerce settings.
5. View Waitlisted Products #
- Track which products customers have added to the waitlist via:
Dashboard → Products → Waitlist
