If you skipped the automatic setup wizard or prefer manual configuration, you can access all Omniverse theme options directly from your WordPress dashboard. Follow the steps below to properly configure your theme. #
Step 1: License Activation #
To enable automatic updates and unlock premium features:
- Go to Dashboard → Omniverse → Theme License
- Enter your purchase code
- Activate the theme license
Step 2: Install the Child Theme #
A child theme protects your customizations when the main Omniverse theme receives updates. This ensures your modifications remain safe.
Installation Steps #
- Locate the omniverse-child.zip file in your original theme download package.
- Go to Appearance → Themes → Add New → Upload Theme
- Upload the child theme ZIP file.
- Click Install Now
- Activate the child theme after installation.

Step 3: Select a Page Builder #
Omniverse supports multiple page builders. Choose one based on your preference.
Elementor #
- Go to Theme Settings → Other
- Select Elementor as the current page builder
- Then go to Omniverse → Plugins and install Elementor
Gutenberg #
- In Theme Settings → Other, select Gutenberg as the current builder
- Enable:
- Gutenberg Blocks
- Gutenberg Editor for Products
Gutenberg is included with WordPress by default.
WPBakery #
- Download WPBakery from your theme account or package
- Install it via Plugins → Add New → Upload Plugin
- Activate it after installation
Important: Only one page builder should be active at a time.
Step 4: Install Required Theme Plugins #
To ensure full functionality:
- Go to Dashboard → Omniverse → Plugins
- Select required and recommended plugins
- Click Install
- Wait until installation and activation complete
Important Notes #
- Do not leave or refresh the page during installation.
- Required plugins are essential for proper theme functionality.
Step 5: WooCommerce Setup (Optional for Online Stores) #
If you plan to sell products online, install WooCommerce.
Installation #
- Go to Plugins → Add New
- Search for WooCommerce
- Install and activate the official plugin
WooCommerce Setup Wizard #
After activation, the setup wizard will guide you through:
- Store location and currency
- Payment methods (PayPal, Stripe, etc.)
- Shipping options
- Tax configuration
- Basic store details
Complete the setup before adding products.
Step 6: Import Prebuilt Websites #
After installing the theme and plugins, new Omniverse and Theme Settings tabs will appear in your dashboard. These contain all customization tools.
Import Demo Content #
- Go to Omniverse → Prebuilt Websites
- Browse available demo websites
- Click Import on your chosen demo
- Optionally, import individual pages from the Additional Pages section
Beginner Recommendation #
If you’re new to the theme:
- Import a complete demo website first
- Replace demo content with your own images, text, and branding
- Customize layouts and settings afterward
