Setting Different Headers for Specific Pages

The Omniverse Header Builder allows you to create both default headers and custom headers. This flexibility helps you display different header layouts across various sections of your website.

Default vs Custom Header #

• Default Header – Applied globally across your website unless overridden.
• Custom Header – Can be assigned to specific pages, posts, products, portfolios, or other sections.

You can create multiple custom headers depending on your design requirements.

Assigning a Custom Header Globally #

You can assign a custom header to specific content types through Theme Settings.

Available options: #

• All Pages: Theme Settings → General → Header
• Single Blog Posts: Theme Settings → Blog → Single Post
• Portfolio Projects: Theme Settings → Portfolio → Single Project
• Single Products: Theme Settings → Single Product

This allows consistent header design across particular content sections.

Assigning a Custom Header to Individual Pages #

To set a header for a specific page, post, product, or project:

1. Edit the desired page/post/product in WordPress.
2. Locate the Custom Header option in the page settings.
3. Select the header you want to display.
4. Save or update the content.

This overrides the global header only for that specific item.

Custom Headers for Product Categories #

Some WooCommerce templates (such as product category pages) are not directly editable but can still use custom headers.

Default behavior: #

• Product category pages inherit the header assigned to the Shop page.
• If no header is set there, the default header will be used.

Creating Category-Specific Header Rules #

To assign different headers to specific categories, you can create a Theme Settings preset.

Steps: #

1. Go to Dashboard → Theme Settings → Options Presets.
2. Click Add New Preset.
3. Enter a preset name.
4. Set the condition:
   • Term ID → Equal → Select Category ID
     (Ensure you choose the correct category from Blog, Portfolio, or Products.)
5. Select the desired header in:
   Theme Settings → General → Header.
6. Click Save Settings.

To return to the main settings interface, use the To Global Settings button.
