How to Configure Facebook Login

Enable Facebook login on your website by following these steps:

1. Create a Facebook App #

• Go to Facebook Developers and create a new App for your website.
• Set a name for your app.

2. Add Facebook Login to Your App #

• In your App Dashboard, click + Add Product.
• Select Facebook Login and add it to your app.

3. Request Permissions #

• Go to App Review → Permissions and Features in your App Dashboard.
• Request Advanced Access for:
  • public_profile
  • email

4. Configure OAuth Redirect #

• Navigate to Facebook Login → Settings.
• Fill in the Valid OAuth Redirect URIs field with your Account Page URL.

5. Copy App Credentials #

• In your App Dashboard, copy:
  • App ID
  • App Secret

6. Enter Credentials in WordPress #

• Go to WordPress Dashboard → Theme Settings → API Integrations → Social Authentication.
• Paste your App ID and App Secret as shown in the screenshot.

7. Test the Facebook Login #

• You should now see the Facebook login button on your account page.
• Test logging in to make sure it works.

Note:

• Your Facebook App must be made live for other visitors to use the login functionality.
• The option to make your app live is available in your App Dashboard.
