The Omniverse Header Builder includes global header settings that allow you to control the overall behavior and appearance of your website header.
To access these settings, click the gear icon (Header Settings) located in the top-left corner of the header builder editing screen. This will open a popup panel containing general header configuration options.
Available Header Settings #
Overlap Header #
This option places the header above the page content.
It is commonly used with transparent headers, especially on homepage sliders or large banner images.
Full-Width Header #
Enables the header to stretch across the entire width of the page.
This option may not work if your website uses a boxed layout.
Dark Dropdown Style #
Applies a dark background with light text to:
- Menu dropdowns
- Shopping cart widget
- Mobile navigation
This is useful for websites using darker design themes.
Sticky Header Shadow #
Adds a subtle shadow effect when the header becomes sticky during page scrolling.
This helps visually separate the header from the content.
Sticky Header Effect #
Controls how the sticky header behaves while scrolling.
Available options include:
- Stick on Scroll – The header remains fixed at the top while scrolling.
- Slide After Scroll – The header appears after scrolling down the page.
If the sliding effect is selected, you can enable the Sticky Header Clone option. This creates a simplified sticky header layout containing essential elements such as:
- Logo
- Navigation menu
- Search
- Shopping cart widget
You can also define a separate height specifically for the sticky header.
