Projects Post Type #
To showcase your projects, works, image galleries, or any other creative content, you can create a Portfolio page.
First, create an empty page and assign it as a Portfolio page by navigating to:
Theme Options → Portfolio → Portfolio Page
Then add your projects with images and descriptions from:
Dashboard → Projects → Add New
You can configure your portfolio using the Omniverse Theme Options panel, which includes many customization options and layout variants.
General Portfolio Settings #
- Disable Portfolio – Disable the custom post type for portfolio projects completely.
- Portfolio Project URL Slug – Change the project URL slug.
⚠️ Important: After changing this, go to WordPress Settings → Permalinks and click Save Changes to apply. - Portfolio Category URL Slug – Change the category URL slug.
⚠️ Important: Resave permalinks after making changes.
Projects Options #
- Portfolio Style – Choose different portfolio layouts:
- Show text on mouseover
- Alternative
- Text under image
- Mouse move parallax
- Image Size – Set image size (
thumbnail,medium,large,full, or custom sizes defined by the theme). - Show Category Filters – Display category filters with animated transitions.
- Category Filters Mode (Links or Masonry) –
- Links: Navigate to category pages
- Masonry: Filter items dynamically on the same page
- AJAX Portfolio – Enable AJAX loading for portfolio category links.
The AJAX Links functionality allows portfolio filters to behave like the shop page filters.
Enable it from:
Theme Options → Portfolio → Category Filters (Links)
Theme Options → Portfolio → AJAX Portfolio
Layout & Pagination Options #
- Full-Width Portfolio – Make the portfolio container span 100% width.
- Projects Columns – Set how many projects appear per row.
- Space Between Projects – Adjust spacing between portfolio items.
- Items Per Page – Number of projects displayed per page.
- Portfolio Pagination – Choose pagination style:
- Pagination links
- Load more button
- Infinite scrolling
- Portfolio Order By – Select sorting parameter.
- Portfolio Order – Ascending or descending order.
Single Project Options #
- Projects Navigation – Enable next/previous project links.
- Related Projects – Display related projects in a carousel.
- Project Title in Page Heading – Show the project title instead of the portfolio page title.
- Single Portfolio Header – Set a global header for all single portfolio pages.
Individual portfolio pages can also have their own custom headers.
