Omniverse WooCommerce layout builder

Omniverse comes with a powerful WooCommerce Layout Builder that allows you to create fully custom layouts for your store pages using WPBakery Page Builder or Elementor.

With this tool, you can design custom layouts for:

• Shop page
• Single product page
• Cart page
• Checkout page

You can use all standard elements provided by your page builder, along with special WooCommerce-specific elements designed for each store section.

⚠️ Elementor Pro has its own layout builder, which is a separate and unrelated feature

Layout Builder Location #

You can access the Layout Builder from:

WordPress Dashboard → Layouts

This section displays all created layouts, organized by type. From here, you can:

• Create new layouts
• Edit existing layouts
• Delete layouts

Important: Enable Page Builder for Layouts #

If you don’t see your page builder interface while editing a layout, you need to enable it for the Layout post type.

WPBakery #

Dashboard → Role Manager → Post Types → omniverse_layout

Elementor #

Dashboard → Elementor → Settings → Post Types → Layouts

Creating a WooCommerce Layout #

1. Go to Dashboard → Layouts
2. Click Add New
3. Select the Layout Type
4. Enter a layout name
5. Set layout conditions (if needed)
6. Click Create Layout

Single Product Page Builder #

Omniverse allows you to build fully custom Single Product Page layouts or start from predefined templates.

How it works: #

• Go to the Single Product tab
• Click Add New
• Name your layout
• Define display conditions

Common use cases: #

• Apply layout to all products
• Apply layout to specific products
• Apply layout to product categories

You can create multiple single product layouts and display them based on different conditions.

Shop Page Builder #

The Shop Page Builder works similarly to the Single Product Builder.

You can create multiple layouts and assign them using include and exclude conditions.

Examples: #

• Main shop page
• Specific product category
• Product search results
• Special promotional collections

This flexibility allows full control over how product archives are displayed across your store.

Shopping Cart Page Builder #

With the Omniverse Cart Page Builder, you can:

• Create a fully custom cart layout
• Use a predefined cart template
• Reorder, edit, remove, or add cart elements

⚠️ Unlike shop and product layouts:

• Cart pages do not support conditions
• Only one cart layout can be used site-wide

Checkout Page Builder #

The Checkout Page layout is built using two separate layouts:

1. Checkout Form Layout #

Contains:

• Billing & shipping fields
• Payment methods
• Place order button

2. Checkout Top Content Layout #

Used for:

• Login form
• Coupon form
• Notices and messages

Any additional checkout-related content can be placed in either of these layouts.
