With WooCommerce 9.6 and later, Brands are fully integrated into WooCommerce core and enabled by default. Omniverse theme fully supports WooCommerce Brands and allows you to display them on your store pages.
Add a Brand #
- Go to WooCommerce → Products → Brands.
- Use the form on the left to add a new brand.
- The list of existing brands appears on the right.
Edit or Delete Brands #
- Hover over a brand name in the list.
- Click Edit to modify details or Delete to remove it.
- Brands can be re-ordered by drag and drop.
Assign a Brand to a Product #
- Go to WooCommerce → Products and select a product.
- Find the Brands box in the right sidebar.
- Tick the box of the brand(s) you want to assign to the product.
Display Brands on Pages #
Omniverse provides a Brands element that you can add via WPBakery or Elementor:
- Edit the page where you want to show brands.
- Add the Brands element.
- The element automatically pulls WooCommerce Brands.
All theme settings for brands are compatible with WooCommerce core brands.
Create Brands as Attributes (Optional) #
If you prefer to manage brands as product attributes:
- Go to Dashboard → Products → Attributes → Brand → Configure Terms.
- Add a new brand in the form and click Add Attribute.
- Ensure the attribute is set as a Brand attribute in Theme Settings → Shop → Brands.
- You can configure:
- Brand logo position on the single product page
- Turn on/off brand description tab
- You can configure:
Add Images and Descriptions to Brands #
- When creating a new brand, you can upload a logo image.
- Add a description to be shown under the “About brand” tab on single product pages.
Brand Filters #
To allow customers to filter products by brands:
- Go to Appearance → Widgets.
- Add the Omniverse WooCommerce Layered Nav widget to your shop sidebar or filter area.
- Choose the Brand attribute in the widget settings.
