The Wishlist feature allows customers to save products they like for future purchases and share them with friends. This functionality can boost conversions by keeping users engaged with your store. Omniverse has a built-in wishlist system—no extra plugins are required.
Enable Wishlist #
- Go to Theme Settings → Shop → Wishlist.
- Enable the Wishlist feature.
Create Wishlist Page #
- Go to Dashboard → Pages → Add New.
- Name the page (e.g., Wishlist).
- Edit the page with WPBakery or Elementor.
- Add the Wishlist element to the page.
- Configure the page in Theme Settings → Shop → Wishlist → Select a page for the Wishlist.
- Go to Dashboard → Settings → Permalinks and click Save to ensure the page works correctly.
Display Wishlist Icon in Header #
- Navigate to Theme Settings → Header Builder.
- Add the Wishlist element to your desired header location.
Multiple Wishlists #
The Multiple Wishlists feature allows logged-in customers to create several wishlists to organize their favorite products. For example:
- Holiday gifts
- Regular purchases
- Sports equipment
Customers can also share wishlists via Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, and Telegram.
To enable multiple wishlists:
- Go to Theme Settings → Shop → Wishlist.
- Enable Multiple wishlists.
- Optionally, enable Show wishlists popup to let customers choose or create a wishlist directly when adding a product.
Note: Multiple wishlists are available only for logged-in users.
Admin Wishlist Management #
- Admins can view all wishlists created by customers via Dashboard → Products → Wishlists.
- Clicking a customer’s wishlist will redirect to the list of that customer’s saved products.
- The Popular products tab shows items most frequently added to wishlists by your customers.
