Omniverse theme was designed with a global wrapper (container) for all page content. This wrapper ensures a consistent layout for the header, content, and footer.
- Default wrapper width: 1222px
- Can be adjusted globally for all pages in Theme Settings.
- Applies to all content, including Elementor-built pages, regardless of Elementor’s “Content Width” setting.
Default Page Template #
When using the Default page template:
- All content is limited by the site’s wrapper width (1222px).
- Elementor’s Full Width option will stretch content only up to the wrapper width, not the full screen.
- To stretch content beyond the wrapper (to screen edges), use the theme’s “Container stretch” option.
- The Content Width option in Elementor can be used to make content narrower than the wrapper but cannot exceed it.
Tip: You can combine these: stretch sections using Container stretch and fine-tune the section width using Elementor’s Container Width option.
Elementor Full Width Page Template #
If you prefer Elementor’s native full-width structure:
- Disable Elementor sections negative margin in Theme Settings.
- Activate the Elementor Full Width page template in the page settings.
With this template:
- The global wrapper is removed.
- All Elementor widgets are stretched to full screen by default.
- Section widths are controlled entirely by Elementor’s Content Width settings.
- The theme’s Container stretch option is unnecessary.
